We are a community Law Office located and practicing in San Diego, CA providing important and effective legal assistance, by Attorneys, to residential and commercial tenants. We also assist occupants with issues surrounding their occupancy including eviction. Important assistance is provided to all occupants (owners, tenants, guests etc.) during and following a foreclosure of the property.
We are registered with the County of San Diego and currently hold a U.S. Trade Mark with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. We have been serving our community since 1993 assisting thousands of tenants. We serve all of San Diego County and provide assistance and services in Spanish (as well as English). We are the original Tenants Legal Center and have developed unique systems and procedures to deliver high quality legal services to tenants at affordable low fees. Sometimes certain "offices" will attempt to copy us but the quality and results of our services are far superior and generally more affordable than any of these other offices.
Our goal is to provide an affordable resource for tenants and occupants to become educated and protected as to their rights under the law. In the technical world of property and Landlord Tenant law, rights are fragile and are easily lost by inaction or improper action. We work to protect and prevent the loss of valuable and important rights through education, sound legal advice and effective appropriate action.
The Tenants Legal Center is the original Full Service Tenant's and occupant's rights office in San Diego. We offer a wide range of services performed by independent practicing Attorneys experienced and uniquely qualified to assist tenants and occupants. The Tenants Legal Center was founded by Attorney Steven R. Kellman who has been practicing Tenant and Renters Rights law since 1982. Do not be fooled by impostors or offices pretending to do what we do. They lack the skill and experience to properly and economically protect your rights.
In addition to providing assistance to our clients, we are active in various contributions in community service to promote education in Landlord Tenant law and property matter relations. We have participated in many News Feature Stories as a well recognized resource for tenant's and occupant's rights information and assistance. We assist countless public and private organizations for assistance, information and training.
Attorney Steven R. Kellman routinely volunteers his time to give lectures and seminars to housing counselors, community assistance organizations, attorneys and concerned citizens groups about Landlord Tenant law and property relations.
